Kenya: Feel the Heartbeat of Africa

$4995 per personBook Now Connect with Us

Me to We invites you to join us on a volunteer trip and take a step with us into a new world—a step into the Maasai Mara region of Kenya. If you are interested in taking a walk in someone else’s shoes—sometimes quite literally—this is the trip for you. Building schools, digging wells, planting trees—that’s just part of creating change in the world.

Meet and learn from the local elders and community leaders, walk with the mamas to draw water, learn Swahili and help build a school or clean water project for children in need.

Take in the scenic beauty of Kenya on nature hikes and safaris led by expert guides. From deserts to snow-capped mountains, sandy coastlines to freshwater lakes, you’ll have the chance to experience the region’s diversity from the windows of a lorry as you travel across the country.

Join us on an intimate and unique learning experience set against the spectacular backdrop of the African landscape.

Trip Highlights

  • Volunteer abroad and help build a school for children who may never have set foot inside a classroom.
  • Explore local villages, learn about traditional Maasai culture and take Swahili lessons.
  • Engage with local students and learn about the unique way of life in rural Kenya.
  • Participate in hands-on workshops and learn about poverty-related issues in Africa, as you experience them yourself.

Participant Testimonial

“I spent 16 days in Kenya, and I can honestly say that those were the best two weeks of my life. . . . There’s something about the beautiful sunsets, exotic wildlife and the incredibly kind-hearted people that captivates you while you’re there and I felt like something I never knew was missing had been found. I think everyone needs to experience something like this trip at some point in their life!”

-John McGill, student
