Me to We is dedicated to helping youth realize their full potential through leadership, education and development. Every volunteer and leadership trip challenges participants to learn about new cultures, build leadership skills, volunteer in local communities and become involved in a truly global curriculum. With Me to We, students experience the world in a whole new way.

We work with many universities, colleges and schools that want to incorporate an international experience into their curriculum. We are able to adapt our itinerary to complement your curriculum.

Why Me to We?

• Children helping children: Trip participants are exclusively youth, with an emphasis on empowering youth.
• Direct involvement in development: Volunteering with Free The Children projects creates strong ties between your group and the local community. This involvement allows educators to introduce development into classroom curriculum both before and after the trip.
• Leadership training: Our unique training gives participants the necessary tools to create change at home. It enables youth to use the knowledge and experiences gained from the trip as a catalyst for social action.
• Community interaction: We have strong ties and a history with all the communities with which we are involved. Students will feel welcomed and become part of the Free The Children family.
• Hands-on volunteering: Volunteer opportunities give students a unique insight and instils in them the Me to We philosophy. Me to We is able to provide certification and letters of support to document the 40 hours of volunteer work participants can gain during a three-week trip.
• Social issues: Guest speakers, facilitators and in-country staff share their knowledge of the country and the issues it faces through lectures, reflections, informal discussions and cultural experiences.
• Highly customizable trips: Itineraries can be tailored to your group’s vision and needs, touching upon the issues and areas most important to you and your students.
• Outstanding trip facilitators: Excellent Me to We (Leaders Today) staff, both in-country and back home, will ensure your experience is of the highest quality.
