Me to We walks the talk! See how we’re offsetting our carbon footprint.

We know volunteer travel can be hard on the global climate. That’s why we put so much energy into offsetting our environmental footprint.

Our team is obsessed with minimizing our impact on the earth—yet maximizing its capacity to change. Every year we launch new green initiatives that help the ecosystems of the developing communities in which we work.

  • Kenyan tree nursery: This two-year-old facility nurtures 40,000 indigenous seedlings each year, which are planted at schools built by our charity partner, Free The Children.
  • Environmental education: Teaching kids how to go green is a cornerstone of all our education programs, reaching more than 10,000 students a year.
  • Renewable materials: All the wood we use in school construction comes from suppliers certified in forest regeneration. The clothing sold in our gift shops are made from organic cotton.
  • Green building: Our Bogani cottages for adult and corporate guests are built entirely from renewable, indigenous materials.

Living Me to We isn’t about following a trend. It’s about seeking new innovations in daily choices that are friendly to the world we all share.
