Dalmar Abuzeid

Dalmar joined the cast of Degrassi: The Next Generation as Danny, Liberty's precocious younger brother, during the show's fifth season. His previous television work includes a lead in Wild Card and a number of commercials. Dalmar's other talents and interests include piano, soccer, hockey, snowboarding, ice-skating, swimming, basketball, singing and dancing. In 2007 and 2008, Dalmar traveled with Free The Children, first to Kenya and then to Ecuador. Documentaries of Dalmar and his cast mates' trips were produced by MTV in Canada. In his spare time Dalmar performs alongside Jamie Johnston, Scott Paterson, Raymond Ablack and Shane Kippel in their band SoundSpeed.

Scott Paterson

Toronto born and raised actor Scott Paterson joined the cast of Degrassi: The Next Generation as Johnny in 2007 after appearing in two episodes during the previous season. At an early age, Scott got the "acting bug" and landed his first role in the play Alice in Wonderland. His repertoire includes performances in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (playing the lead role), Les Miserable and Seuessical, The Musical playing the role of the proud and crazy general. Scott's professional credits include numerous commercials and he landed his first television acting role, alongside Ted Danson in Fox/A&E's MOW, Knights of South Bronx. In his spare time Scott performs alongside Jamie Johnston, Dalmar Abuzeid, Raymond Ablack and Shane Kippel in their band SoundSpeed.

Sarah Barrable-Tishauer

Sarah rejoins Degrassi: The Next Generation for a ninth season. Sarah began her acting career at the age of 11 as Young Nala in the opening cast of Disney's The Lion King in Toronto. She made her television debut shortly after in the Gregory Hines feature, The Red Sneakers. Sarah has been dedicated to social activism from an early age, pioneering projects to help disadvantaged youth and create awareness about poverty and social issues. She was awarded the Millennium Excellence Award in 2009 for distinction in leadership, community service and youth empowerment. Last year, Sarah was honoured to be an award presenter during the filming of David Susuki's documentary, The New Centurions, at the Canadian Consul General Residence in Los Angeles. She is currently studying Communications and Digital Production in Montreal. Sarah traveled to Ecuador as a Youth Ambassador for Free The Children in 2008 and will lead a trip to India this summer.

Evan Williams

Joining Degrassi: The Next Generation in its eighth season as Smithdale student Kelly, Evan Williams has a strong television and film repertoire that includes Instant Star, The Border, Grey Gardens, Baxter, A Flesh Offering and Honey I Shrunk The Kids. With a bachelor of fine arts from Ryerson University, Evan is also a seasoned thespian with credits including Fiddler on the Roof and Guys and Dolls, to name a few. Evan also composes music for guitar and piano. He has done voices for cartoons. In 2008, Evan travelled to Ecuador with Free The Children. A documentary of the trip was made for MTV in Canada. Evan also recently starred alongside fellow Degrassi/em> actor Paula Brancati in Hallmarks' The National Tree. He and his Degrassi co-star Sarah Barrable-Tishauer travelled to L.A. in 2009 to participate in the taping of The New Centurions: a documentary for Discovery Canada about a new generation that is taking part in volunteer initiatives for the environment and their communities.
DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION is produced by Epitome Pictures in association with CTV. The series was co-created by Linda Schuyler, co-producer of the original Degrassi series and Yan Moore. Schuyler and Stephen Stohn serve as Executive Producers. Brendon Yorke executive produces. Distribution company for the series is Echo Bridge Entertainment.
