Louise Kent

Louise Kent is a passionate storyteller, who since 2004 has shared global stories of compassion and hope with more than 250,000 people on Me to We speaking tours. Her accounts of living and working with impoverished communities across the globe will inspire your mind and heart to action. And from her role as Director of Youth Programming at Free The Children, Louise is at the forefront of inspiring young people to change the world.

After travelling to over 25 countries building community schools and volunteering in overcrowded orphanages, Louise came away with life-altering lessons and a dream of inspiring youth to fight for social change. Armed with a degree in international development and on-the-ground experience from China to Kenya to India, Louise has stood before audiences of thousands, encouraging young people to develop their gifts and callings to help their peers around the world. She has toured with Oprah’s O Ambassadors Roots of Action speaking tour across North America, and has shared the stage with some of the world’s most eminent leaders and orators including His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Dr. Jane Goodall, John F. Kennedy Jr., Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel and Mia Farrow.

Louise challenges her audiences to reject feelings of powerlessness and apathy, championing the idea that when exposed to role models of social action and equipped with confidence and leadership skills, youth can become empowered to take action as global citizens. With passion, sincerity and infectious energy, Louise Kent is engaging and igniting the next generation of world leaders.
