As founder of Free The Children, Craig Kielburger has gained international recognition for his work and dedication as a child rights advocate. He is also the co-founder of Me to We. A Harvard Graduate and Oxford University Rhodes Scholar, Marc Kielburger is an accomplished social advocate. He is also the chief executive director and co-founder of Me to We.

Roxanne Joyal

Roxanne, a Stanford University graduate and Rhodes Scholar with a law degree from Oxford University, is an experienced international development practitioner and leadership specialist. Among her many accomplishments—including clerking with the Supreme Court and working with the World Bank on fair trade and poverty projects in Zimbabwe—she is a founding team member at Me to We. She splits her time between Canada and Kenya, spearheading development projects and inspiring everyone she meets with her boundless energy.

A brave survivor of war at only 20 years old, Michel was born in Democratic Republic of Congo and now a proud citizen of Canada. This former child soldier now serves as an ambassador of peace, having spoken to over 100,000 young people across North America sharing his message of hope.

Louise Kent

Louise Kent is a singer-songwriter and speaker, with a background in international development and years of on-the-ground experience in China, Kenya, India and beyond. She’s spoken to more than 150,000 youth and performed to stadium audiences of thousands, sharing the stage with such artists as Sarah McLachlan, the Canadian Tenors and Hanson. But she’s most in her element rolling up her sleeves and helping a developing community build a school.

Kim Plewes

Kim has been a youth leader at Free The Children since 1998, dedicating her creativity and energy to inspiring, empowering and supporting children both locally and globally. Kim has spent time volunteering in Nicaragua, Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, Cambodia and Thailand, and brought the message of change to over 200,000 people.
