Roxanne's Safari Clutch
Embellished with a hand-beaded disc and lined in Me to We Artisans signature cotton kanga cloth, the envelope-style Safari Clutch is inspired and made by the women of Africa.
The glass beads on the embellished disc are stitched into genuine leather in traditional colours and patterns by Maasai women, using traditional techniques. Kanga is a common cloth worn by rural women, knotted over their shoulders, and includes Swahili and Arabic symbols. The finished piece is assembled by a women's cooperative of skilled sewers who are able to help support their families as working artisans.
