These beautiful, 100% silk, hand-dipped scarves come in a variety of fall hues. Each comes from a shop called Janta, a tiny family business in New Delhi owned by Hamant and his wife Anu.

Hamant's grandfather started the studio over sixty years ago and Hamant has been learning from his grandfather and mother since he was a boy. As a reminder of the shop's long history, a picture of Hamant's grandfather sits in the corner. Over cups of tea served by Hamant's mother, a traditional Indian custom to greet visitors, Hamant gave us a fascinating lesson on the process of dyeing fabric and showed us a sampling of stunning styles, weaves and blends.
