1. WHAT IS ME TO WE? top

   Me to We is a new kind of social enterprise for people who want to help change the world with their daily choices. Through our media, socially responsible choices and leadership experiences, we support Free The Children's work with youth creating global change. Every trip, T-shirt, song, book, speech, thought and choice adds up to a fun, dynamic lifestyle that's part of the worldwide movement of we.

2. HOW IS ME TO WE INVOLVED WITH FREE THE CHILDREN? top

   Free The Children is our charity partner and our best friend in changing the world. To date, Free The Children has built over 650 schools, bringing the fundamental right of education to over 55,000 children every day. Hundreds of communities have benefited from its water and sanitation projects, medical resources and alternative income programs.

   Me to We has developed a highly effective model for creating social change, with each branch of the Me to We tree designed to support Free The Children's work at home and abroad. Volunteers on a Me to We trip help build schools. Speakers carry a message of action and hope. Leadership facilitators teach about youth leadership for global change. Me to We is also structured to offset expenses and help provide pro bono services to Free The Children's efforts--contributions valued at well over a million dollars annually.

   In addition, 50 percent of Me to We's net profits goes to support the work of Free The Children, helping to ensure that, one day soon, Free The Children's already low administrative costs go down to zero.

   Our innovative aboriginal leadership model, the Sacred Circle, gives First Nations youth the leadership skills and empowerment needed to reach their fullest potential. Click here to learn more.

6. WHAT IS THE TAKE ACTION PROGRAM? top

   Not to be confused with the Take Action Academy, our Take Action Program is a school board initiative, giving students a unique leadership education right in their own classrooms. The program is most often implemented throughout entire school boards, but we also welcome individual teachers, for whom we've created a customized Take Action Program model.
