We’ve Got you Covered: Safety on our Trips

Picture this: You’re a parent, and your child tells you they want to travel overseas on a volunteer trip. You’re proud that they want to take action to make a difference in the lives of others. But the first thought that crosses your mind is “Will my child be safe?”
We understand these concerns. Rest assured, safety is always our top priority on our volunteer trips. That’s a promise. When your child embarks on a Me to We trip, they’re leaving the safety net that you provide for them at home. But don’t worry—we’re here for you and your child. Since 2002—for over 10 years—we have taken more than 4,000 youth to Ecuador, Kenya, India, Ghana, Nicaragua, rural China and Arizona without a major incident. Me to We trips are unique, life-changing experiences that open up a new world of adventure and learning. And we want all participants to fully experience every aspect of their trip—from making new friends, to volunteering on building projects, to exploring famous cultural landmarks without worrying about their safety. That’s our job.
At Me to We, our promise to parents is that we will bring your kids home safely. From the moment a participant steps foot on the plane, to the moment they arrive back home, safety is always at the forefront. All you need to think about is the life-changing journey your child is about to have—we’ll take care of the rest.
